An engineer who roasts coffee.

By day I run a company that makes the equipment the can industry uses to check cans are made to specification. Double Seam Coffee brings that discipline to coffee. Roasting is where science and art meet, and that’s what drew me in.

I’m a one-person roastery in Worcestershire, and roast in small batches. I roast on equipment that lets me control the profile and measure the result. Every can carries its own record because transparency is important to me. I record when it was roasted, when it was sealed, and, once measured, how close the roast came to target.
